Chartis Asset Management (Pty) Ltd is a registered Category 2 Financial Services Provider, duly authorized by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (FAIS Act).

Chartis Asset Management (Pty) Ltd is a licensed Financial Services Provider under FSCA license number 52814. We are authorized to provide discretionary investment management services in accordance with Section 8 of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act).

This license authorizes Chartis Asset Management to:

Upon receipt of your complaint, we will acknowledge it and provide an estimated timeframe for resolution. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer it to the FAIS Ombud for assistance.

The PAIA manual for Chartis Asset Management, prepared under South Africa’s Promotion of Access to Information Act, provides a structured approach for clients and the public to request access to records held by the company. 

It specifies procedures for submitting requests, details on prescribed fees, and the rights of requesters, ensuring transparency and compliance. The manual also includes contact information for the Information Officer, lists available records, and outlines how personal data is processed and protected. 

Chartis ensures that requests are handled fairly, providing necessary information within legal guidelines while safeguarding confidentiality and data integrity.
